Elbit Systems Australia appoints new CEO

Elbit Systems of Australia has announced the appointment of Anna Barba as its new CEO.
Barba has served in a variety of leadership, engineering and program delivery roles in Australia and overseas, in a career spanning more than three decades, and has successfully led multi-disciplinary teams delivering programs for the benefit of the Commonwealth of Australia, UK Ministry of Defence, French Armed Forces and Royal Canadian Navy.
She has a particular interest in the maritime sector, having led the delivery and sustainment of some of the Royal Australian Navy’s most significant capability.
Anna will lead Elbit Systems of Australia, working closely with the parent company, Elbit Systems and with ELSA’s board.
“I am delighted that Anna is joining us to drive the next phase of growth in Elbit Systems of Australia,” said Acting Chair AVM (ret’d) Kym Osley.
“Her proven skills in leadership, relationship building and complex program delivery will be critical in delivering Elbit’s ambitious growth and diversification plans.”
