ArchTIS wins subcontractor deal for OneDefence Data Program

Software company archTIS announced that it has been awarded a work order as a subcontractor to KPMG (KPMG Technologies) to provide secure data architecture consulting services for Tranche 1 of the OneDefence Data Program.

In April 2022, the Australian Assistant Minister for Defence, the Hon Andrew Hastie MP, announced the acquisition of Tranche 1 of the ICT 2284 OneDefence Data Program. It includes initiatives Defence is implementing to uplift the data security environment, improve data maturity and enhance the information available to the Australian Defence Force to better manage data as a strategic warfighting asset. As the preferred systems integrator, KPMG Technologies was selected to lead a consortium of vendors, including Oracle, Microsoft, archTIS, and others to deliver the investments outlined in the data strategy.

ArchTIS has been contracted through KPMG Technologies to identify and manage risk processes, oversee the QA of architecture and design governance, and support the architecture design, governance and security accreditation process required to implement a secure data-centric architecture as part of the OneDefence Data Program.

This award is for the first Work Order for Tranche 1 of 1DDP Program for Provision of Design Authority coordination services and support. The total contract value is A$230,043. The contract term runs until 16 December 2022. Work Orders can be terminated  with 30 days prior written notice, with the obligation to pay for services up to the effective  date of termination.

Daniel Lai, archTIS Managing Director, said: “We are actively working alongside KPMG Technologies and the OneDefence team as part of this significant, organisation-wide program to improve Defence’s secure data management practices. As part of the initial component, this award will allow archTIS to share its expertise in data-centric security playing a key role in the development of robust data management practices for the warfighter and the Defence organisation that supports them.”
